This specialized centre is dedicated to research in the fields of Aerospace and Defence segments. The purpose is to provide confidence to the Defence Forces and related Industry by way of their acceptance of our innovations in line with the ‘Make in India’ concept promoted by the Central Government. The frameworks and solutions developed at MAAN Defence Research & Development Centre is to help make indigenization more effective and reliable and less dependent on imported products. The creation by the parent company Sure Safety India Limited of the First Engineering Model of Astronaut Crew Escape Suit where in the product was developed after a lengthy Study, Research and inputs from ISRO was its foray into the Aerospace and defence, although different products were already supplied to NSG commandos, NDRF etc. which included Inflatable Shelters, CBRN suits, Rescue equipment etc. to name a few.
