MDPL also is accredited with the development of Engineering Model of Astronaut Crew Escape Suit where in the product was developed after a Lengthy Study, Research and inputs from ISRO, the Indian Space Agency besides specialized products for the Defence Research Establishments in the country.
MDPL moved towards setting up its own Innovation centre for excellence at Vadodara, Gujarat and MDPL is now accredited with DSIR - Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, approval for its Research and Development Laboratory -The Indian Highest accreditation Body under Ministry of Science, Government of India.
The Manufacturing setup includes state-of-the-art facilities for Manufacturing and Testing of Chemical Protection / Gas tight Garments, FR and Heat Protection, Electric Arc Garments, Hard Hats, RPDs etc. This specialized centre is dedicated to research in the fields of Industrial Safety and Aerospace and Defence segments.
